Power Pairings Day 2: Buff & Shine

This time of year, every year, is when those pesky (sometimes itchy) tiny little dry skin related bumps like to appear on my arms and legs. Not sure if wearing mostly pants and long sleeves is the culprit, or the weather itself, but regardless, like clockwork, they come every January. And when they come, they tend to stay – short of a good routine of scrubbing – and this year I’m doing what works right away. This soft but effective scrub and body size glycolic peel pads together left me with *brand* new skin and I’m so excited to have a prescription to send the rough skin away instantly, and keep it away long term.

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Scrub is the only scrub I know that uses corn cob and bamboo for its buffing benefits and it is soft and scrubby in a really nice way, and it smells so good that I got the very rare “What smells so good?” from my husband as the lively scents drifted from my shower out into the bedroom the other day. It also contains shea butter, cocoa butter, grapefruit, rosemary, and juniper  – and it makes your skin soft as butter too. Makes your bath or shower feel like the spa.

Cane + Austin Retexturizing Body Pads 10% Glycolic used all over takes the great skin Revive Body Scrub leaves you with to a whole new level. Refining, and going deeper into future top-layer-skin is what this does to produce a straight silk skin tone. I can’t believe it’s been so long since I used glycolic on my body because I do know how powerful it is, but it’s hard to find body size pads like these, which cover the whole body in one pad. This is bringing longevity to my retexturizing routine, and those pesky little bumps have been completely disappeared. A perfect product for resolving a myriad of dry skin, clogged pore, bumpy, itchy issues.
